Phi Lambda Beta is the Portuguese Collegiate Honor Society. It strives to stimulate interest in Portuguese studies, reward achievement in the field, and establish relationships among its members.

Hispania publishes articles and reviews in English, Spanish, and Portuguese related to language, literature, theoretical and applied linguistics, and other areas of interest to its readership.

Spanish and Portuguese Review is a graduate student journal dedicated to all areas of study related to both Spanish and Portuguese. The journal is designed to mentor graduate student editors and contributors.

The Portuguese Newsletter features news, interviews, announcements, and other items relevant to individuals interested in the Luso-Brazilian world.

The Sociedad
Hispánica
de Amistad
recognizes scholarship, fellowship, and service by elementary
and middle school students studying Spanish and/or Portuguese and promotes interest in Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian studies.

The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is an honor society for high school students enrolled in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
It promotes interest
in Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian studies as it recognizes student achievement. 

Albricias publishes art, essays, poetry, stories, and other creative and
academic works from high school students across the country. All work must be submitted in Spanish or Portuguese.

The National Portuguese Examination is an online assessment that engages students in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

The AATSP sponsors an annual Poster Contest for K–12 students of Spanish and Portuguese.
