“I participated in the Cursos Internacionales program at Universidad de Salamanca during July of 2022 with the help of the AATSP Study Abroad Scholarship and the Spanish Embassy Scholarship. The classes covered a variety of topics including educational exercises, assessment, pronunciation practice through music and poetry and the online educational platform Genially. Each professor took time to get to know our group, shared from their own experiences as teachers and gave us relevant tips that we could use in our classrooms. The Salamanca program was beneficial for me to remember my love of traveling and Spanish culture, to be a student again and to have professional development for my career as a Spanish teacher.”
