November 2-6 is National Teach Portuguese Week!
The American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) launched the inaugural National Teach Portuguese Week on November 2-6, 2020. To celebrate NTPW on Thursday, November 5th, the AATSP in conjunction with the National Foreign Language Resource Center, hosted a free webinar for Portuguese language educators on innovative teaching practices. The purpose of National Teach Portuguese Week is
1. To promote the teaching of Portuguese
as a profession.
2. To encourage the study of Portuguese in the U.S.
3. To emphasize the importance of Portuguese as a world language.
4. To celebrate the diversity of the Portuguese-speaking world.
