Meet Beth Gaunce

Beth Gaunce has taught Spanish for 30+ years in brick/mortar and online schools. She held administrative positions at Kentucky Virtual High School, Middlebury Interactive Languages and Kentucky Educational Television’s Online Campus. Currently she is the Director of the KET Workplace Essential Skills program development.

Beth received a BA in Spanish and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kentucky, as well as certification from Boston/EDC in Online PD Course Creation and Online PD Course Facilitation. Her professional service includes President of KATSP, board member of KCTFL, and 9 years on the Executive Council of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, serving as Zone Director, Vice President and President. She is now the Director of the Sociedad Hispánica de Amistad.

She is committed to providing pathways to learning for students who would not otherwise have opportunities via high quality, personalized online instruction. Her focus is bringing new ideas, policies, and processes to uplift educational programs.
