Inspired Proficiency

Ashley Uyaguari hosts this podcast. We find that the most inspiring moments in our careers have been those when we are connecting with like-minded, passionate teachers. We want to launch this podcast as a space for teachers to come together, share their best tips and ideas, and inspire one another. This podcast brings professional development to your ears! We plan on talking with your favorite teachers, presenters, bloggers, and online contributors about things that will directly apply to YOUR classroom. This podcast aims to provide inspiration conveniently; you can listen to us while driving, cooking or even grading.

Step into Mondays!

Have you ever attended a workshop, read a book about the latest trends in teaching, talked to a colleague and thought the ideas put forth were great but didn't know how to incorporate them in your classroom? Do you want to level up your teaching to better meet the needs of your students but are feeling overwhelmed and don't know where to start? Step into Mondays bridges the gap between the theory and classroom practice by illustrating how to integrate these ideas into your classroom. In some episodes the hosts, Krista Chambless and Sandrine Hope, take you through the step by step process that brings an idea to life, leaving you not only with a method of replication, but with an actual lesson you can reproduce and use in your own classroom. Everything is rooted in best practices for effective language teaching.
