The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is pleased to announce that our 2022-23 awards cycle has begun. The information and applications for the Joseph Adams Senior Scholarship and Bertie Green Junior Travel Award are now posted online. 

Each year the SHH awards scholarships in the amount of $1000 and $2000 to graduating seniors who are members of their local SHH chapters and have shown evidence of high achievement in Spanish or Portuguese throughout high school.

In July 2023, the SHH will award 18 juniors who are members of their local chapters with a trip to Costa Rica. Information and application instructions are located on the SHH website. Bertie Green Junior Travel Award trips are chaperoned by SHH Advisory Board members.

Each chapter can submit one application per award. Click here to access all information and forms. The application deadline is Thursday, December 8.
