AATSP is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with an exclusive behind the scenes look at the upcoming Colombia episodes of Afro-Latino Travels with Kim Haas!
Join Kim in this upcoming AATSP webinar as she guides you through her summer trip to Cali, Colombia, the global capital of salsa and home to one of Colombia’s largest Afro-descendant communities.
Kim will share stories from the filming, including her interview with Edna Valencia: Afro-Colombian journalist and cultural consultant for Disney’s Academy Award winning film “Encanto,” her moving experience learning to play the celebrated marimba from a 4th generation musician, and the location of the best shrimp empanadas on the planet!
