Scholar Position: ASL Piloting
ACTFL’s Assessment & Research Team is seeking a Scholar to help design a pilot program leading to the development of an ASL assessment. The scholar will work in the area of assessment development and research to pilot existing test items. The Scholar will receive a $2,000 honorarium and will work remotely 10 hours per week for eight weeks (June 13 – August 8, 2022).

Intern Position: Assessment Development and Research
ACTFL is seeking an intern to work in the area of assessment development and research. The intern will spend half of the internship assisting with a variety of projects related to ACTFL assessments and half of the internship period focusing on research-related activities. Part of the internship will be administrative, in addition to the activities and tasks aligned with the critical mission of the department. The intern will receive a $2000 honorarium and will work remotely 20 hours per week for eight weeks (June 13 – August 8, 2022).

Scholar Position: Content for Professional Learning
ACTFL’s Professional Learning and Certification Team is seeking a scholar to support the redesign of on-demand learning resources for language educators. ACTFL has numerous digital courses covering a wide range of content related to the teaching and learning of languages. With a changing landscape of providing virtual/remote learning for language educators, ACTFL is looking to inventory existing content, outline categories for accessing the content, and help with the design of new modules. The Scholar will receive a $2000 honorarium and will work remotely 10 hours per week for eight weeks (June 13 – August 8, 2022).

Intern Position: Marketing and Membership
ACTFL is seeking a Marketing and Membership intern to support its digital presence. As our association grows, we have more programs and products to share with our audience of language educators around the world.
