AATSP Conference Attendees are receiving a special rate and special included amenties. You will be taken to the hotel's reservation system. Note: The hotel's website prompts you to log in or/join Priority Club, the hotel's frequent guest program. You may also book your hotel without logging in by using the Room Availability search box in the bottom left hand corner of the hotel's reservation system page on the link above.
The AATSP single/double guest room rate is $130 per night and will include an extensive buffet breakfast and in-room internet access for each guest (up to 2 per room). Each Additional Guest (for 3 or more) in the same room is an additional $50. If the Additional Guest Charge is paid, buffet breakfast and internet access will also be included for that guest.
Internet access is valued at approximately $12/day and the extensive buffet breakfast is valued at approximately $20/day. An approximately $32 daily value included with your reservation!

Bell men charge: US $5.00 per person at check-in and check-out
Maid charge: US $2.50 per room and per night
Taxes:
16% VAT and 2% City Tax (Subject to change without notice according to government regulations)

Conference Registration includes:
Awards Banquet: The Awards Banquet will take place Monday evening. In order to have an accurate meal count, we ask that you please select the Awards Banquet "optional ticket" item below if you plan to attend the Banquet. You will be able to indicate a regular or vegetarian meal on the next page.

Members and Non-members: The Awards Banquet, a $75 value, is included in the conference registration fee. Please select the item below in the "optional ticket" area so we can create an accurate meal count..

Student members and Life members must purchase an Awards Banquet ticket for $75 if attending the Awards Banquet.

Workshops: $30
In addition to the regular conference sessions that are included in your registration fee, the 2010 AATSP conference program includes half-day workshops that are three-hours in length. Workshops are chosen to provide participants an interactive and in-depth exploration of a specific topic related to the teaching of language, culture, or literature. Workshops are special events and require conference registration and a separate fee to attend. Participants may attend only those workshops for which they have registered.
Excursions: $22, $90
Excursions are especially designed for AATSP members, and include guides, transportation, taxes, and tips! We have not scheduled any conference events during these excursion times so that you may enjoy the rich offerings of our host country.You are not obligated to purchase or attend any excursions. Excursions are special events and require conference registration and a separate fee to attend. Space is limited.
Pre-registration for all excursions is required. Excursion registration will NOT be available on-site. You may purchase excursion tickets for yourself as a conference attendee during the registration process. Bringing a guest? Purchase Guest Excursion Tickets seperately.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
All registration changes and refund requests must be
made in writing no later than May 15, 2010 via e-mail (to
rmiller@aatsp.org) or US Postal Service (900 Ladd Road, Walled Lake, MI 48390) postmarked by May 15, 2010 . No refunds will be granted after May 15, 2010 . All refund requests will be subject to a $50 processing fee. All refunds will be processed after the conference. Please allow 8 weeks for processing.
Payment
We accept credit card or check payment. We do not accept purchase orders.

For payment by check, select the "invoice me" option, and at the end of the registration process print your invoice and submit it by postal mail to the AATSP national office. Your invoice is created and provided to you electronically during the registration process; you are responsible for printing it out and submitting your invoice and payment. The AATSP will not be mailing you a separate invoice. Your registration will be processed upon receipt of payment. The payment by check option closed on May 17, 2010. All online registrations must now be completed with credit card.
Presenters
If you are a presenter or co-presenter, you have the option to reserve and purchase Audio/Visual (A/V) items below. If you need any of these items, you must reserve and purchase your A/V by March 1, 2010. The AATSP is underwriting the cost of some items.
