The New Mexico Association for Bilingual Education (NMABE), along with the Alliance for Multilingual Multicultural Education (AMME) invites you to become a sponsoring organization and send your student representative to the national competition in Albuquerque.

In order to become a sponsor, all you have to do is petition the National Spanish Spelling Bee (NSSB) Planning Committee to become a sponsor and commit to the following:

1. Organize a state, regional or local Spanish Spelling Bee.

2. After the contest, send the required student information along with the $150 participant fee to the NSSB Planning committee.

3. Provide your student and his/her parent or sponsor with the funds necessary to cover air fare and hotel expenses (a host hotel will soon be identified and group rates will be available).

4. Join in Albuquerque if you can.

To become a sponsor, please fill out the sponsor form on the NMABE website (http://www.nmabe.net/). You can mail, fax or scan and email it to:
