To ensure an accurate meal count for the Awards Banquet, you are required to choose your registration according to your Awards Banquet entrée choice. 

  • Regular Members and Non-members: The Awards Banquet is included in the conference registration fee. At time of registration, you will select your conference registration with either a "Regular Entrée". "Vegetarian Entrée" or "I will not be attending Banquet".

  • Student members and Life members: Awards Banquet tickets for Student members and Life members are $75 each.  You must purchase an Awards Banquet ticket during the registration process if you would like to attend the Awards Banquet.

  • Additional Awards Banquet ticket: During the registration process, AATSP conference attendees can purchase an additional Awards Banquet tickets for $75.

In addition to the regular conference sessions that are included in your registration fee, the 2013 AATSP conference program offers optional three hour workshops. Workshops are chosen to provide participants with an interactive and in-depth exploration of a specific topic related to the teaching of language, culture, or literature. Workshops are special events and require conference registration and a separate fee to attend. Participants may attend only those workshops for which they have paid and pre-registered. EXCURSIONS: Prices vary

Excursions are designed especially for AATSP conference attendees. Each excursion is intended to have a historical and cultural as well as pedagogical value. So that you may enjoy the full experience designed for you, regular Conference sessions and events have not been scheduled during these excursions. Excursions are special events and require conference registration and a separate fee to attend. These excursions are optional and there is no obligation for conference attendees to participate. Space is limited. Pre-registration for excursions is required. You may purchase excursions tickets for yourself as well as a guest during the registration process.


All registration changes and refund requests must be made in writing no later than May 15, 2013 via e-mail (to or US Postal Service (900 Ladd Road, Walled Lake, MI 48390) postmarked by May 15, 2013. No refunds will be granted after May 15, 2013. All refund requests will be subject to a $50 processing fee. All refunds will be processed after the conference. Please allow 8 weeks for processing.


Credit card (VISA and MasterCard) payments accepted online during registration proces. Please note:  Checks or Purchase Orders cannot be accepted.


  • All meeting rooms are equipped with a data (LCD) projector and screen, at no charge to presenters.
  • Availability of additional Audio Visual Equipment, those not underwritten by the AATSP, must be reserved directly through the AATSP Conference hotel.

Availability of Audio Visual Equipment requested on site in San Antonio, Texas is not guaranteed.
