AATSP Chapters - Rural Locations

Note: You will need to be signed into the website to comment within the Forum.

Jason Noble, Treasurer of the Iowa Chapter, poses the following question:

Our AATSP chapter is located in a rural area. We have few members and the members we do  have are spread across a large area. I would really like to find out what other AATSP chapters that are in a location/situation similar to ours are doing that is successful. I feel as if a less populated rural state and a densely populated coastal state would be on a completely different page as to what works well.

Hello T. Miller,
I have been looking through the website to find resources for future teacher's in Kentucky. I could not even find a local chapter for our state. I was surprised to find a handful of chapter only through AATSP.

B. Carrasquel,

That is unfortunate that there are minimal chapters for future teachers. Support would be helpful to everyone especially new teachers.
