The Sporting Man of Letters: How Hemingway's Upbringing Influenced Who He Became

Cristen Hemingway Jaynes—great-granddaughter of Nobel Prize-winning author, Ernest Hemingway—holds an MA in Creative Writing from Birkbeck, University of London, and is the author of Ernest’s Way: An International Journey Through Hemingway’s Life. The biography and travel guide explores the influence of the places Hemingway lived and worked on his life and writing. Originally from Seattle, Cristen is the author of the short story collection, The Smallest of Entryways, and is currently working on a novel, as well as a new Hemingway-related biography.
