In a contemporary, communicative classroom focused on acquisition, teachers must be adept at sustaining communication in the target language at all levels. Like playing catch with a child, the teacher’s language needs to hit the students squarely where they can catch it and give it back in ways that develop confident, competent speakers. This entertaining full day workshop will provide you with knowledge and skills practice to help you go beyond mundane circling to more authentic interaction that helps build positive relationships among classmates and optimizes communication for long-term acquisition.
