The main objective of this one-day event is to provide local elementary, junior high, and high school Spanish teachers with hands-on pedagogical practices and knowledge on how to optimize the Spanish classroom experience for both students and teachers. Participants in these workshops will earn 7 professional credits toward maintaining their teaching certification. Topics in past events in 2016 and 2017 have included: "Conducting Oral Proficiencey Interviews", "Technology in the Classroom: Virtual Study Abroad", "Tips for Teaching Writing Skills" and "Active Engagement and Motivation".
