This year they will be featuring speakers Flavia Belpoliti (Texas A&M Commerce), Gabriela Zapata (Texas A&M), as well as José Esteban Hernández and Yanina Hernández (UT Rio Grande Valley). Participants will be discussing the process of creating a heritage Spanish program, including factors such as student and programmatic needs and teacher training.

The Center for Open Educational Resources and Language Learning, would like to invite you to attend their 4th Heritage Spanish Summer Workshop on June 7-8 at the University of Texas at Austin. This year they will be featuring speakers Flavia Belpoliti (Texas A&M Commerce), Gabriela Zapata (Texas A&M), as well as José Esteban Hernández and Yanina Hernández (UT Rio Grande Valley). Participants will be discussing the process of creating a heritage Spanish program, including factors such as student and programmatic needs and teacher training. COERLL will also have a hands-on section where participants will work with practical activities and ideas to implement in the heritage Spanish classroom.
