THE ARTS AND SOCIAL ACTIVISM IN THE PORTUGUESE-SPEAKING WORLD

Sponsored by the American Association for the Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP)

In keeping with the theme of SAMLA 90, this panel invites papers examining literary and other art forms that have served to strengthen and diffuse socio-political movements in Portugal, African PALOP countries, and/or Brazil. Papers may be presented in English or Portuguese.

By May 1, please send a 250-word abstract, a brief bio, and any A/V requirements to Lynda Jentsch, Samford University, at ljjentsc@samford.edu
