HOTEL INFORMATION

AATSP Conference Attendees are receiving a special hotel rate that includes amenities. The AATSP single/double/triple/quadruple guest room rate is $175 per night and in-room Internet access (approximate value $15). Taxes and gratuities are not included in the hotel room rate.

Taxes and gratuities: 14.75% Government Taxes (Subject to change without notice according to government regulations).

Extend your stay in Denver, Colorado at our beautiful conference hotel. The AATSP rate is valid July 14-23, 2015 contingent upon room availability.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION INCLUDES:

  • Admission to all presentations including 30- and 75-minute sessions, e-Posters, panels and featured sessions
  • Admission to:
    1. Exhibit Hall with refreshments during breaks
    2. President's Welcome Reception
    3. Awards Banquet if selected during registration process (Student and Lifetime members must purchase a ticket to attend)
  • Workshops are not included in the conference registration fee but can be purchased for a nominal additional cost


AWARDS BANQUET


To ensure an accurate meal count for the Awards Banquet, you are required to register according to your Awards Banquet entrée choice.

  • REGULAR MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS: The Awards Banquet is included in the conference registration fee. At time of registration, you will select your conference registration based on one of the following menu options:
    1. Regular Entrée - Ras El Hanout Spiced Chicken Breast with Arugula and Pistachios; Creamy Polenta; Asparagus and Baby Carrots
    2. Vegetarian Entrée -  Stuffed Bell Pepper with Kale and Garbanzo Beans over Black Lentils and Tomato Coulis
    3. No Entrée - I will not be attending Banquet
  • STUDENT MEMBERS AND LIFE MEMBERS: Awards Banquet tickets for Student Members and Life Members are $75 each. You must purchase an Awards Banquet ticket during the registration process if you would like to attend the Awards Banquet.
  • ADDITIONAL/GUEST AWARDS BANQUET TICKET: During the registration process, AATSP conference attendees can purchase additional/guest Awards Banquet tickets for $75.

WORKSHOPS AND EXCURSIONS

WORKSHOPS: $30 (half day) or $55 (full day)

  • In addition to the regular conference sessions that are included in your registration fee, the 2015 AATSP conference program offers optional half-day or full-day workshops. The selected workshops provide participants with an interactive and in-depth exploration of a specific topic related to the teaching of language, culture, or literature.
  • Workshops are special events and require conference registration and a separate fee to attend.
  • Participants may attend only those workshops for which they have paid and pre-registered.


CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

All registration changes and refund requests must be made in writing no later than April 1, 2015 via e-mail (to rmiller@aatsp.org) or US Postal Service (900 Ladd Road, Walled Lake, MI 48390) postmarked by April 1, 2015. No refunds will be granted after April 1, 2015. All refund requests will be subject to a $75 processing fee. All refunds will be processed after the conference. Please allow 8 weeks for processing.


PAYMENT

Credit card (VISA and MasterCard) payments are accepted online during the registration process. Please note: Checks or Purchase Orders cannot be accepted.

AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT

All meeting rooms are equipped with Internet access, a data (LCD) projector, and screen at no charge to presenters.

Apple Computer Users. Apple computer users must bring the Mini Display Port to VGA Adapter to connect to a standard input. Adapters will not be provided or available.
