Congratulations to AATSP Member Linda Chinn

Saturday, December 16, 2017

The Georgia Department of Education has named Woodland High School’s Linda Chinn as the World Languages Educator of the Month.

Chinn has been a Spanish teacher at Woodland High for 11 years.

She was a part of the inaugural staff at the high school, but her career stretches over 19 years. Her recent honor stems as much from her impact beyond the classroom as it does from her work inside the classroom, said District Spokesman JD Hardin in a press release. Chinn has served as a sponsor for the Spanish Honor Society, volunteered to judge the Governor’s Honors Program applications, and assisted with judging the capstone presentations for the International Skills Diploma Seal.
