Geography and Environment in Costa Rica: Summer Educator Institute
Tulane University Latin America Resource Center

July 3 – July 12, 2016
OPEN ONLY TO GULF SOUTH TEACHERS

San Jose, Costa Rica

Join us in Costa Rica to learn more about the environment and geography of one of the most biodiverse regions in the world! This institute, in conjunction with the Audubon Nature Institute, will explore Costa Rica, focusing on environmental resources, ecological diversity, and sustainability. This is a great opportunity for geography and science teachers to explore the tropical rain forest, climate change, and biodiversity. Participants will create lesson plans they can take back to their classroom.
