MIWLA is pleased to announce the MIWLA 2016 Winter Workshop, Maintaining Target Language and Developing Interpersonal Communicationin partnership with The Department of World LanguagesAnn Arbor Public Schools.  Laura Terrill, American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Consultant, will present this workshop. Laura will present ways for us to engage in activities that will promote and nurture a classroom environment that encourages target language usage.

The event will take place on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 8:30AM until 4:05PM at the Washtenaw Intermediate School District in Ann Arbor, MI.

She will focus on interpersonal mode, and interpersonal strategies to illustrate how this can be done effectively.

The fee for this workshop is $50 per person, which covers registration. A light breakfast of fruit, bagels, doughnuts, and coffee will be served. Parking is compliments of the Washtenaw ISD.

Six (6) SCECHs (pending) will be offered to eligible participants.

Registration is limited and closes January 24, 2016 and is only available online. There will be no on-site registration for this workshop.
