NADSFL Pre-Conference Workshop!

Title: Guiding Teachers to Improve Their Instructional Game

Presenter: Peggy Boyles, Independent Consultant, OK

Description: How do adults learn differently than the students they teach? What is important for us to understand about adult learning theory when planning professional development for teachers? Although there is no single theory of learning that can be applied to all adults, the presenter will share a variety of research-based strategies and techniques for district leaders to use in order to guide teachers to maximize instructional effectiveness. Whether workshop participants are looking for ways to work with beginning or veteran teachers, this interactive workshop will provide participants with multiple opportunities to learn through problem solving and reflective discussion.
