Florida International University Symposium on 19th Century Spanish and Spanish American Literatures - April 1-2, 2011

Sponsored by the Department of Modern Languages

We welcome proposals for papers and panels about 19th Century Spanish and Spanish- American Literatures.

The deadline for submission is January 7, 2011.

If you are interested in presenting a paper or in organizing a session, please E-mail a one-page abstract (250 words) and a title page with the author's name, address and phone no later than January 7, 2011 to:

Papers may be written in Spanish or English. Length should not exceed 10 double-spaced pages (reading time: 20 minutes). Registration fee is $165. A revised version of selected papers will be considered for publication in a collective volume.
