AATSP PROFESSIONAL PARTNERS
WHAT IS AN AATSP PROFESSIONAL PARTNER?
The AATSP partners with a number of companies and organizations that provide scholarships, awards, study programs, financial support, and products or services of benefit to the AATSP membership.
WHAT IS THE COMMITMENT OF A PROFESSIONAL PARTNER?
Professional Partners of the AATSP agree to sponsor a product or service that is of benefit to our membership for a three-year period at a minimum value of $1000 or more annually.
WHAT TYPES OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES DO PARTNERS PROVIDE?
Option 1. Sponsorship of an event at our annual conference
Partners can provide funding for the purchase of conference-related items. Sponsorships can include, but are not limited to:
A. Sponsorship of an Exhibit Break. Exhibit Breaks are 30 minutes in length, during which no regular sessions are scheduled so attendees can visit the Exhibit Hall. Sponsor funds are used to offset the costs of refreshments for attendees.
B. Conference materials: bags for attendees, badges and lanyards, folders, pens, papers, printing.
C. Monetary donations to offset costs of hosting receptions, meetings, entertainment, or other special events.
Option 2. Awards, Travel Stipends and Scholarships
A. Full or partial scholarship(s) to summer study programs in Spanish or Portuguese worth at least $1000. In the event that no one applies, or does not meet eligibility, partners will agree to provide funding for a conference event.
B. For groups that do not have a scholarship program: a contribution of at least $1000 to our existing travel stipends for our scholarship programs, or funding of award honorariums.
WHAT DO PROFESSIONAL PARTNERS RECEIVE IN RETURN?
Professional Partners receive …
A. Logo and corporate name listed on a special page on the AATSP website.
B. Three free e-mail messages to the entire AATSP membership spread throughout the year. The Professional Partner will provide the content of the e-mail message and the AATSP office staff will send out the message to the membership.
C. Logo and corporate name in the conference program.
D. Two admission tickets to the conference awards banquet.
E. Other recognition from the AATSP as appropriate. Examples can include but are not necessarily guaranteed: assistance with promoting appropriate professional partner activities on the AATSP website; recognition of funding or scholarship at annual conference awards events, letters of recommendation or endorsement if appropriate.
