The 2009 winner of the Chapter Incentive Award is the Massachusetts Bay Chapter. The Selection Committee noted that the Massachusetts Bay Chapter provides an outstanding number of activities for its members including museum visits, film festivals, teacher workshops, and numerous lectures. The chapter also holds activities in conjunction with the Embassy of Spain and its Boston consulate. Stephane Cuddeback Salim, chapter president, accepted the award from 2009 AATSP President Milton Azevedo. 

The AATSP Chapter Incentive Award is presented to the chapter that demonstrates outstanding chapter activities along with membership participation. A $500 honorarium for the winning chapter accompanies this award.
